Right things vs things right


Apa perbedaan mendasar antara Pemimpin (Leader) dengan Manager

“Leadership is about doing the right things, when management do things right.”
Leaders are people who do the right things; Managers are people who do the things right
Seorang pimpinan disebut manajer apabila ia mengerjakan sebaik-baiknya tugas/pekerjaan yang diberikan kepadanya (do the things right).

Leadership is getting people want to do what needs to be done
Leadership / kepemimpinan membuat orang INGIN melakukan apa yang perlu dilakukan.

Management is getting people to do what needs to be done.
Management membuat orang melakukan apa yang PERLU dilakukan.
